This small business management program is short-term (typically six months) students receive four career certifications. Successful completion of this program will validate the skills and knowledge for those participants interested in working in an In-Demand Middle Skills trade profession General Business and Operations Management; addition this program will include The QuickBooks Certified User certification an industry-recognized credential that effectively validates one’s skills in QuickBooks accounting software.

Studying at your own pace, you will learn how to effectively plan, structure, and run a small business for local employers or national corporations. From talent acquisition to cash flow, our small business training can help you succeed in a challenging business world and make tangible progress toward your career goals. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to enter or advance in the field of business management, with a focus on management applications and techniques, relevant accounting practices and human and organizational relationships.

Develop the skills for in-demand positions at Store Management, General Management, Operations Management. Additional employment opportunities include working in fields related to marketing, sales, and general office accounting. In addition to a traditional career, this will prepare students for the gig economy.

Applicant Requirements

  • An individual must be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen and registered with Selective Service (if applicable).
